The Terra Sigillata urn is crafted with wheel thrown clay before tiny clay particles (Terra Sigillata) is added to the surface. An experienced artisan repeats the process several times with polishing done in between which leaves the urn with a beautiful smooth surface. The unique coloring is accomplished by adding straw that is mineral soaked and sawdust to the outdoor kiln. An ornate piece of driftwood is added to finish the overall look.  This urn is perfect for celebrating the memory of someone that appreciated the beauty of nature.
